The recruiting process can expose a player’s habits long before it exposes his talent.

College coaches notice the obvious things:

Speed.
Size.
Film.
Production.

But they also notice what happens around the evaluation.

Does the athlete respond professionally?

Does he follow through?

Does he know his own academic information?

Can he explain why he is interested in the program?

Does he take ownership, or does a parent handle everything for him?

Those details may seem small.

They aren’t.

Recruiting gives coaches an early look at how a player may operate inside their program.

Will he communicate when something is wrong?

Will he handle coaching?

Will he prepare without being chased?

Will he represent the team well?

Talent may earn the first conversation.

Habits often determine whether that conversation continues.

Parents should absolutely help their sons stay organized and make good decisions.

But the athlete has to become the driver of the process.

Because college coaches are not only evaluating whether he can play.

They are evaluating whether they can trust him.

And trust is one of the most valuable traits a recruit can build.

🇺🇸 250 Years Strong. One Nation. One Standard.

Today we celebrate 250 years of freedom, sacrifice, and opportunity.

At Elite Football Academy, we’re grateful for the coaches, parents, athletes, military members, first responders, and families who make it possible for young athletes to chase their dreams every day.

The values that built this country hard work, discipline, resilience, and teamwork, are the same values we strive to develop in every athlete who walks through our doors.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, let’s honor those who came before us by continuing to work hard, serve others, and pursue excellence in everything we do.

From our Elite Football Academy family to yours, we wish you a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July! 🇺🇸
