Since I'm not teaching a solstice class for the first time in a looong time, I'll share my favorite solstice fun fact with you here:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⏰ There are 8 fewer hours of daylight today than there are at the summer solstice. Eight! As in, the recommended number of hours of sleep per night. Somehow that never translates as an extra night of sleep though...
Remembering this quirk of our orbit always reminds me that when I lean towards being a little quieter at this time of year, towards more comfort and less output, that that's the rhythm we're in right now. And it's soothes my little Pitta brain for a moment.

It's 🍂November🍂 - a month that prompts many of us to turn towards gratitude, so we're coming back from our long social media hiatus to say:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2021 is a season we'll never forget. Signing up for a SUP Yoga class, or a SUP 101 class always takes at least a little courage. You never know for sure what's going to happen. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
