2026 school schedule is winding down. Today seven of our trapshooters will be "graduating" from the 8th grade and moving on to high school. Congratulations to:

Well today is the day! Congratulations to our four graduating seniors! Four outstanding individuals. We wish you the best on your future endeavors. To Ella, Anthony, Matt and Jacob we are glad you decided to join the Melrose-Mindoro Mustang trap team years ago! It’s been a pleasure. Thank you!

If you want to get some practice shooting a 100 birds all from the 16 tomorrow there are a couple shoots. Enjoy the extended weekend.

Few shoots tomorrow. Kendall is hosting a bird shoot. All from 16. Signup 9-2. Arcadia is also hosting a 100 bird shoot all from 16. Signup 9-1

Today we finished the conference schedule of trap shooting with a bang. Had a lot of good scores with a bunch of 25’s thrown in.

Today we also awarded a trap gun to one lucky person. We had 12 members that applied. Applicants had to answer a few questions. What does trap shooting mean to you? How long have you shot? Do they plan to shoot after they are out of school? All of the stories were very good which made choosing the winner very difficult. The winner of this gun was Tucker Steussel! Congratulations Tucker! Thank you to Gene Stetzer for this awesome prize.

We also had our coaches challenge shoot today. As expected the coaches lost, 242-236. We did have one coach who ran them. Congrats to Brady Patterson. We’ll win next year 🤭

Next up: state shoot on June 7th.
