So what is Sunday Pallet Day? It's downtown's way of celebrating pallets...free ones that come with free pallet-making-plans and a three-cheer you can make that creation chant. Seriously. Eat, dance, run a jig saw, and then be inspired and carry a pallet home. Get it? Thanks Kevin Wixson for making sure we all celebrate with pallets. That's why it is Pallet Day! Ah, come on, you can do a little jig(saw).

Struggling to break up your pallet wood? Join us for our "Break-it & take-it" this Sunday, August 12th at Arcadia Creek Festival from 11-3PM for a fun-filled day with your favorite food trucks & a very special popup woodworking experience! Kalamazoo Makers Guilds very own Kevin Wixon has devoted his Sundays to promote pallet making and the upcoming event.

Kevin welcomes anyone who is interested to work side-by-side in an interactive demonstration on how to disassemble a pallet. Participants then have the option to take the pallet wood home to make their own creation that just could be entered into the 2018 event!
