DanceSport at OSU (2026)

The primary purpose of DanceSport at OSU as both a Competition Team and Social Club is to promote the appreciation and recognition of ballroom dancing as a positive competitive, artistic, and social form of recreation by the residents of the city of Columbus and the surrounding communities and by the students, faculty, and staff of The Ohio State University. The club provides various levels and styles of ballroom dance classes weekly, and these classes are open to anyone and everyone, no experience or dance partner needed! Mentoring by older members of the club is available. A list of classes, levels, dance styles, and times are offered on our website and weekly schedules are posted on our story. The team participates in several competitions throughout the school year, however many members of the club just enjoy social dancing as well - your dance journey is up to you! Coach:

Mark your calendars!! The 32nd Annual OSU DanceSport Classic is returning to the Tom W. Davis gym in Ohio State’s RPAC on Saturday, September 30, 2023!

Registration prices are listed online and in the flyer. We will be DISCOUNTING REGISTRATION FEES for any FIRST-TIME COMPETITORS, as well as OPEN-ONLY DANCERS, so all skill and experience levels are welcome! Spectator admission is free for all.
