What started as a personal mother and daughter weight-loss journey, Healthy Kids and Teens was born in 2006 by one mother of three who desired to teach her children and others the importance of healthful foods and adequate fitness. Healthy Kids and Teens empowers children with knowledge, holds children accountable and encourages parent/guardian support. Our motto is: It takes a village to raise healthy children.

Healthy Kids & Teens and Camp Get Fit were excited to join MSCS 901 Reads Day and help kick off an inspiring day of reading, learning, dreaming, and discovering what’s possible!

Following the exciting kickoff, CEO Clintonia Simmons-Nichols led junior class through “My Business Idea”—an entrepreneurial exploration challenging students to turn their unique qualities into possibilities.

Dolly Parton’s impact on our world and America’s communities is phenomenal. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, countless children have experienced the joy of receiving a book in the mail addressed especially to them—brightening the eyes of children and parents alike. 📚

Healthy Kids & Teens was honored to attend the Porter-Leath’s Spring Luncheon along with AARP Tennessee, supporting Books from Birth and celebrating the incredible legacy of Dolly Parton.

Her music made us smile, but her heart for others helped change lives.

Now that’s a legacy we can all be proud of. Rest in peace, dear Dolly. 🙏🏽❤️
