🔥 BURN BAN IN EFFECT – BIG FOX RUN 🔥
Attention OCCRA racers, families, and spectators!
LeFlore County, home of our upcoming race at Big Fox Run, is currently under a countywide burn ban effective October 5, 2026.
What does this mean for race weekend?
🚫 NO campfires or bonfires.
🚫 NO burning trash, brush, or other materials.
🚫 NO open flames that could ignite grass, leaves, or surrounding vegetation.
🔥 Cooking: Do not assume grills, charcoal, or propane cooking equipment are permitted. We will attempt to get clarification from the landowner.
🚬 Smokers: Please be extremely careful with ci******es and dispose of them properly. Never throw cigarette butts on the ground.
🏍️ Racers: Be mindful of hot exhaust systems when parking motorcycles or ATVs near dry grass.
⚠️ Violating the burn ban can result in a fine of up to $500 and/or jail time.
The burn ban is initially effective for up to seven days, but it may be extended if dangerous fire conditions continue.
We want everyone to enjoy a great weekend of racing, but protecting our race property, surrounding landowners, and fellow OCCRA families comes first.
Please help us spread the word, respect the burn ban, and use common sense throughout the weekend.
🏁 Race hard. Camp smart. Keep Big Fox safe!
