Custom Audio Mutation is a recording studio, guitar amplifier company, instrumental metal band and FX pedal company out of Akron, Ohio. Curran has been making records for 17 years and has over 40 album credits to his name. Curran also builds boutique and mutli-channel tube amps as well as distortion boxes voiced for extended range and traditional players as well! Repair's as well as custom build studio pre-amps, compressors EQ's, and computers for recording is another service that Curran can provide.

Put a Lar-Mar PPIMV in this bad bear 1987x reissue. Also recapped the bias section on principle, and removed the STUPID carbon comp hum balance resistors. Installed some fuseable 100R resistors in thier place for reliability and clean protection. Carbon Comp resistors are the dumbest s**t now a days, noisy, inconsistent, and just plain outdated. Thanks to Brad Webb and Brad's Guitar Garage for the information and purchase link on these resistors. It will improve my ability to make my clients amps more reliable

Old old old Hi-Watt lead 30. Kind of like a higher gain JCM800 with a decent reverb.

Needed new power tubes, recapped, pots cleaned, four new standoff's for the power board and a new reverb tank.

Its an interesting EQ section as well, really works well with the Celestion GT75-12 in there.
