Master Kang earned his 3rd Class Kukkiwon Taekwondo Master certification in 2022 and will now attend the 2nd Class Kukkiwon Taekwondo Master Course from October 30–November 2, 2026! 🥋

This four-day training is also part of the reason for these class closures. We’re proud of his continued dedication to learning and bringing more knowledge to our students!

Our Halloween Party and Picture Day will take place as scheduled. Regular classes resume Tuesday, November 3.

🥋moments🔥 Big kicks, brave hearts, and GOLDEN ! 🥇

Yesterday, eight of our MKT students stepped onto the tournament floor—and gave us so much to cheer about! From focused, powerful performances in poomsae to exciting exchanges in sparring, their hard work shined. Many earned FIRST PLACE finishes in poomsae and sparring, bringing home an amazing collection of gold medals! 👏🏆

We loved celebrating those victories, but there was so much more to celebrate: the courage to compete, the excitement of trying something challenging, and the joy of sharing the experience with teammates. ❤️

Tournaments teach lessons that stay with our students long after the medals come off. Celebrate a win with humility. Face a loss with your head held high. Respect your opponents and the referees. Cheer for others, learn from every match, and keep going. That’s sportsmanship—and that’s growth. 💪

We hope every student remembers how it felt to show up, give their best, and be part of this team. Win or lose, there is always something to learn and a reason to be proud.

Congratulations to all eight competitors! Thank you to our families for filling the day with encouragement and cheers. What a day for our MKT family! 🥋🎉
