🚨 Community Alert: Annual Mowing at Vincent Diflippo Nature Preserve

Please be advised that the Vincent Diflippo Nature Preserve will be undergoing its annual mow tomorrow, October 23.

Annual mowing is a vital management practice for maintaining a healthy and vibrant ecosystem. Here is why this work is essential:

🌱 Controls Annual W**d Growth: Helps establish and protect native grasses and forbs.

🌳 Manages Invasive Species: Prevents the invasion of woody stem plants into delicate grassland habitats.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we care for our community's natural spaces! Please exercise caution around maintenance equipment if you are visiting the preserve tomorrow.
