The Saffron Studio was born out of a desire to share my passion for yoga and total body wellness through mindfulness, fitness and whole food nutrition at every stage of life. My intention is to create a nurturing, loving environment, where each student may experience inspirational and heartfelt teachings to improve their total mind, body, and skin wellness. �

I get to decide every day who I want to be. Some days I’m tired, scared, hurting or defeated by the fight. But every time I get knocked down something inside me gets back up and keeps going because I know in my heart I’m meant to be an over comer. I have a vision that’s so much bigger than me or anything life can throw at me today so I will keep going. We’ve all been given special gifts and talents and I don’t want to get to the end of my life with any unused talents. I want to live my life to the fullest and do all the things I was put here to do and change all the lives I was put here to change ❤️ 🌿

Instead of saying you don’t have time to be healthy, start saying it isn’t a priority to be healthy and if you don’t like how that feels, change your priorities. goodchoices

I’ve been making my own plant based milk this year and we love that there are only a few whole food, organic ingredients in it and it tastes so yummy! I’ve found an amazing way to use the leftover almond pulp- these Almond Pulp Chocolate Chip Bars are easy, nutritious and delicious!
1 c Almond Pulp (you can use any type of nut pulp)
1/2 c Maple Syrup
1/4 c Ground Flax Seed
1 1/2 c Whole Rolled Oats
1 t Cinnamon
1/2 t Sea Salt
1/2-1 c Chocolate Chips (I use Lily’s Dark Choc made with Stevia)
1/2 c Almond Butter
2 t Vanilla
1. Preheat oven to 350 deg F
2. Stir flax and syrup together in med bowl, let sit 10 min (this will gel and be your “egg” to bind ingredients together)
3. In large bowl, combine pulp, oats, cinnamon, salt and chocolate chips and mix well.
4. Add Almond Butter and Vanilla to Flax mixture and stir well.
5. Stir flax mixture into pulp mixture and stir well, then spread into lightly greased 8x8 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 30 min.
