Burningham Racing Birmingham, Alabama Based Auto Racing Team; racing in Champ Endurance Series, World Racing League, and NASA.

"Burningham Racing" is a Birmingham, Alabama based race team. The Burningham team competes in ChampCar Endurance Series, World Racing League, and NASA races. The name is a humorous reference to the team's city of origin, known for BBQ and affectionately referred to by it's residents as "The Ham". The team was established by team captain and Porsche enthusiast, Casey Hooper. Other members of the team are: Rodger Coan, Chris Preston, Tiffany Alexander, Rick Teer, Jorge Pino. The team has raced a Porsche 944 known as "Chumpy" which was sadly totaled in 2016. Since then the team has mostly ran a Lexus SC300 with an occasional race using Rick's Porsche 944 we call "Limey". As of 2017 the team has registered two race wins in the ChampCar series and two in WRL.
