Operation New Hope Operation New Hope, Saving two lives with one program. The inmates learn to train dogs and learn how to be responsible. And the A.K.C.

Operation New Hope is a partnership program between the Chatham County Sheriff's Office and Chatham County Animal Services. This partnership is intended to increase the adopt-ability of shelter dogs and dogs that may be facing euthanasia. The intensive training program provides inmate handlers with job skills that are beneficial to them gaining employment upon release. During the 4 week training period, dogs receive socialization skills and are taught basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, come and walk by your side without pulling on the leash. CGC http://www.akc.org/dog-owners/training/canine-good-citizen/training-testing/ certificate is awarded to all dogs who pass the test. All dogs are housebroken and crate-trained, and have all their shots, are spayed or neutered and many are micro chipped.

🐾🎶 “Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Joleeeene…” 🎶🐾

Meet Jolene, the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet — and she’s not here to steal your man, she’s here to steal your heart! 💖

This loving pup is looking for her forever home where she can sing her happy tune every day. She’s gentle, affectionate, and always ready for cuddles (and maybe a Dolly sing-along 🎤).
Call 912 644-9430 to meet!
