Coming into the championship game as the #7 seed, our Hawks faced a Mokena Red team that was UNDEFEATED at 15-0-1! But these boys weren’t backing down! 💪

Down 8-6 heading into the 6th inning, the Hawks exploded for FIVE RUNS, highlighted by Andrew G’s HUGE 3-run inside-the-park HOME RUN to take the lead! 💥⚾

And our pitchers came ready to COMPETE! 🔥
💪 11 TOTAL STRIKEOUTS FROM OUR PITCHING STAFF!

The result? HAWKS ORANGE 11 – MOKENA RED 8! 🏆

🔥 11 stolen bases
🔥9 hits
🔥 A FIVE-RUN 6th inning comeback
🔥 An incredible TEAM effort from start to finish!

These boys showed what happens when you NEVER GIVE UP, BELIEVE IN EACH OTHER, AND PLAY AS A TEAM!

From the #7 seed to knocking off an undefeated team for the CHAMPIONSHIP — what an unforgettable run!

Congratulations to our players and coaches! You earned this one!
