Why do we intentionally keep our Wagyu herd small at Hawks Hill Ranch?

First and foremost, it allows for a much higher quality of animal husbandry. A small herd creates an environment which produces more consistent beef quality, premium direct to consumer sales, and also the most selective breeding. Every detail from conception to harvest is fine tuned to bring you superior, full blood Japanese Wagyu beef.
