OK I admit. Several of the trails at King of the Hammers were confusing about which way to go. When we entered jackhammer I didn’t know if I should go left or right. Of course the crowd yells left and I go to where the crowd says. But it all worked out. Thank you to Dave Conklin for the video!

So this year I finished King of The Hammers. If you know what that race is you know how excited I must be. I could write page after page but I think I will simply leave it at that and thank some people who contributed to that accomplishment. It really was a team effort. And they deserve as much credit as me. I just got to drive that’s all. Thank you to Todd and Tommy at Mercenary Offroad. They work on my buggy all the time and I really appreciate them helping in the pits. Same goes for Ruben Garcia at Ventura 4x4. Vince at Advanced Product Solutions not only provided me with some killer LED lights which I made use of for the last hour of the race but he also came out and helped in the pits as well. Thank you Jessie Letgrate for being in the pits. Thank you especially to Carlos Banegas for coming out from Houston to go drive with me. I was yelling a lot. But remember I wasn’t yelling at you I was just yelling in your presence! I literally could not have finished without your help and your winching skills. We teamed up with Greg Neff and his pit crew to cover all the pits and congratulations to Greg for finishing as well! Special thank you also to WARN. Without their winch we would never have finished. And if you need a fuel cell don’t go anywhere other than JAZ Products. I don’t even have enough space here to tell you how helpful they have been to me and supportive of my racing. Now… Let’s do it again next year!

The Dirt Riot racing season concluded with the National Rampage in Colorado Springs On Saturday September 21.

In SuperMod (4800) including myself thirty drivers competed in the class this year. But in the race for the national points championship there can be only one...

Unfortunately it wasn’t me. 😉 But in the words of Kyle Naughten Jr. in Taladaga Nights, “There ain’t nothing wrong with silver!”

Congratulations to Jack Peterson for winning the national championship. You had a great year; and great job to Paul Kroger for finishing third.

I want to take a moment to thank my sponsors. I would not use their products if they didn’t work. And trust me...if they can survive the abuse I put them through they will work for you too.

Just got back from a great Dirt Riot race in Vernal Utah. I just wanted to take a moment to thank Joshua Jackson Kevin Colwell Zach Tyler, Matt Peterson and everyone else who helped out in the pits. I could not have finished the race without you guys. About 1 hour into the race I lost both front and rear brakes. I thought I was going to have to call it a day but the guys had me rolling again in about 4-5 minutes. Also want to say thank you to Advanced Product Solutions, Raceline Wheels, WARN, Mercenary Offroad and JAZ Products.
