Has anyone ever stopped and realized how absolutely crazy horse showing is? 😂
Like… this is actually insane.
First, you try to squeeze your rides in before work, after work, or whenever life gives you a spare hour.
Then you load a trailer—usually in the dark—and drive hours to a horse show, rodeo, jackpot, clinic… whatever version of this addiction you’ve chosen.
You get there and proceed to do an impressive amount of physical labour all day, somehow survive on concession hotdogs, burgers and coffee, spend half your time covered in dirt, and then load everything back up and drive home in the dark.
Exhausted.
And somehow… your cup is completely full.
Because somewhere in all that crazy, you checked off a personal goal.
Maybe you had the run you’ve been working toward. Maybe something finally clicked. Maybe it didn’t go perfectly, but you learned something. Maybe you just got to spend a weekend surrounded by good horses and really good people.
Then you get home absolutely exhausted… and immediately start thinking about the next one. 😂
That’s when you realize this probably stopped being a hobby a long time ago and it’s more of an addiction.

It’s a passion.
It’s an addiction.
It’s a whole lot of crazy.
And man, am I grateful I get to live a little piece of it. ❤️
