What a night! Meet Me Monday #900 was a celebration of everything that makes this community special.

We were thrilled to welcome founders, Jannie, Dave, and Randy back to celebrate this milestone, along with Julia from , whose support helps make Meet Me Monday possible.

Athletes who have been walking with Meet Me Monday for years, gathered for a special photo, reminding us that this event is about so much more than miles, it’s about people, friendships, and showing up week after week.

With popsicles in hand, music from The Southern Comfort Band filling the air, and plenty of laughs during trivia, the evening felt like the perfect celebration of a community that moves together, connects, and continues to show up every Monday night.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of these first 900 walks! Here’s to more Mondays together! We walk every Monday, come join us!

Meet Me at Maynard’s (now Meet Me Monday) began on April 13, 2009 as a weekly walk/run event in downtown Tucson.
The idea was sparked in December 2008 when founders Dave and Jannie Cox saw a large group of people running and walking in the cold at Jack Quinn‘s Irish pub in Colorado Springs. They were struck by the social energy and the fact that participants stayed downtown for dinner and drinks. This led them to imagine a similar event in Tucson that could bring more people downtown, boost local businesses, and encourage community engagement.
Meet Me Monday’s mission is to bring active adults and families to downtown Tucson to get moving, make connections with others, explore the city’s history and architecture, and support local businesses. Please join us as we celebrate the 900th edition of MMM on Memorial Day, May 25. The Southern Comfort Band will play and we’ll have sweet treats! Hope to see you there!! !

Live music and visual art well once again come together for a night of Musical Murals.

For over 15 years, every Monday, Meet Me Mondays brings our community together for a downtown walk.

“Musical Murals“ is part of the University of Arizona School of Music’s commitment to community engagement and outreach.

Student chamber ensembles from the University of Arizona school of music will perform along a walking route that connects the colorful walls of art in downtown Tucson. Muralists include University of Arizona alumni (Jessica Gonzales, Sean Cannon, and Joe Pagac) and more.

Monday’s Meet Me walk was one to remember! Beyond was delighted to welcome The Running Shop and Hoka as our event partners for an evening filled with movement, community, and a touch of friendly competition. Walkers had the unique opportunity to try on Hoka shoes and take them for a true “test walk”. Many walkers said their feet felt like they just hit the jackpot! Adding to the fun, The Running Shop hosted a Poker Walk along the route. Walkers stopped at five designated locations to draw aplaying card, building their hands as they went. Once everyone returned to the finish, the five best hands each won prizes, courtesy of Hoka, and one lucky participant walked away with the grand prize… a free pair of Hoka shoes! It was a “full house” of laughter, great conversations, and community spirit. A heartfelt thank you to Hoka and The Running Shop for “dealing in” such a creative and generous partnership.

Meet Me Monday’s Final October Edition! This month we’ve been coming together to honor the courage, resilience, and spirit of all those affected by cancer. Kaety Byerley of Tierra Antigua Realty is sponsoring tonight’s Doc Walk with TMC Health Cancer Center Oncologist Dr Ahmed. Tucson Orthopaedic Institute will also be on hand as they are sponsoring our final night of free pickleball lessons and open play. We’d love to see you out there tonight!
