Great coaching is about more than teaching the game. It is about teaching young players how to respond when things do not go their way.

Before a drill, Two Rivers Soccer Director Dave Haley reminds campers that improvement requires being willing to fail, try again, and step outside their comfort zone. He shares the example of a player failing six times to beat a defender, then succeeding on the seventh because he kept going.

Campers train in age appropriate groups and focus on different techniques and tactics throughout the week, from dribbling and defending to counterattacking and understanding the details of the game that can be difficult to focus on during a normal team practice.

Whether your child is developing their fundamentals or preparing for higher levels of competition, Two Rivers offers training options designed to meet players where they are and challenge them to grow.

With 3.5 to 5 hours of soccer available each day, experienced coaches, purposeful training, and plenty of time to enjoy everything else camp has to offer, players can come home with new skills, greater confidence, and a deeper understanding of the game.

What’s on the menu at Two Rivers Soccer Camp? After more than five decades of summer camp, we know that great food is an essential part of a great camp experience.
Our kitchen serves healthy, hearty meals designed to fuel campers through soccer training, outdoor adventures, and more than 30 camp activities. Every meal includes both vegetarian and meat entrée options, along with a salad bar featuring fresh fruits and salads.
For campers who prefer something familiar, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and pasta are often available as alternatives. We also encourage healthy hydration by requiring every camper to drink a full glass of water at each meal.
From breakfast to dinner, our goal is simple: keep every camper nourished, energized, and ready for another unforgettable day in the Sierras.
