🚨 BREAKING: Hyperco Springs Is Reportedly Shutting Down Manufacturing
One of the biggest and most recognizable names in racing suspension appears to be coming to an end. Hyperco dealer Springrates reported in September 2026 that Hyperco is closing and winding down production at the Matthew Warren Spring manufacturing plant in Logansport, Indiana, by the end of the year.
Even bigger news for racers, Springrates says Hyperco has ALREADY stopped accepting orders that require new manufacturing. That means whatever finished inventory is currently out there will continue to be sold, but once a certain spring is gone, it reportedly won’t be replenished.
We’re already seeing signs of that as well. Speedway Motors has begun listing certain Hyperco springs as “Discontinued” and stating they will no longer be stocked.
Hyperco’s parent company, MW Components, was acquired earlier this year by UK based Rosebank Industries, and the reported closure follows changes within that ownership structure. For racing, this is BIG but troubling news.
Hyperco has been a staple in motorsports for decades. Dirt Late Models, Sprint Cars, asphalt racing, NASCAR, IndyCar, you name it. Racers, shock builders and chassis manufacturers all across the country have relied on these springs for years.
So what happens next? Who steps up and fills the void, and how much does losing a company like Hyperco change the race suspension market moving forward?
This could end up being one of those changes that quietly has a much bigger impact on racing than people realize👀🏁
