⚾ Post 22 Baseball Announces New Leadership Team
Post 22 Baseball is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Kilpatrick as General Manager, along with Mitch Linster as Assistant General Manager – Director of Baseball Operations and Jace Caldwell as Director of Player Development.
A former Post 22 player and coach, Kilpatrick has longstanding ties to the Rapid City baseball community. He has also served as President of Harney Little League and Treasurer of Post 22 Baseball. In his new role, he will oversee organizational operations, support the coaching staff, and work with the Board of Directors to guide the program's continued growth.
Linster brings experience in youth baseball administration and organizational leadership through his involvement with Harney Little League. He will focus on scheduling, team logistics, communications, and strengthening the operational systems that support Post 22's coaches, players, and families.
Caldwell, a former head coach of the Post 22 Expos who continues to lead the Post 22 Academy, will oversee player development initiatives, year-round training opportunities, and efforts to help athletes prepare for opportunities beyond Post 22 Baseball.
The Baseball Parents Incorporated Board of Directors also extends its sincere appreciation to outgoing General Manager Wayne Sullivan for his nine years of dedicated service. His commitment to the organization, its players, coaches, and families has helped preserve the proud traditions of Post 22 Baseball.
As we prepare for the 2027 season, this leadership structure reflects our continued commitment to strengthening the organization, expanding player development, and providing opportunities for our athletes both on and off the field.
