Progress isn’t always flashy. Sometimes it’s a dog walking past barking dogs without feeling the need to join the conversation.

Remi is learning that she doesn’t have to respond to every dog she sees or hears. Through structure, clear communication, and repetition, she’s building the skills to make better decisions in moments that used to be challenging.

Small moments like these add up to big changes in everyday life!

Remi is one week into our Board & Train program! After building a solid foundation of obedience and communication, she’s now being introduced to the e-collar. It is introduced only after a dog understands what is being asked of them and serves as a communication and safety tool.

This is one of Remi’s beginning introduction sessions as she learns how to respond to low level e-collar pressure and turn it off through the correct behavior. She’s making great progress!

🐾 Meet the Pack: Part 6 🐾

Meet our personal dogs: Weller, Booker, and Reacher. Each one brings their own personality into our home.

📚 Weller – The scholar of the group. Studious, athletic, and an excellent retriever, Weller loves a good game and especially enjoys playing with Booker. He’s sensitive, thoughtful, and the kind of dog who genuinely likes following the rules.

🕵️ Booker – Rules? More like suggestions. Booker is usually the last one in the truck and the last one out of the house because he’s busy investigating everything. Purse? Backpack? Laundry basket? Sock bin? He’s already checked them all. A curious soul with a sweet heart, Booker keeps life interesting and loves his people fiercely.

🎾 Reacher – Everything you love about a classic German Shepherd. Handsome, kind, and gentle, Reacher is happiest spending time with his family. While he’s quick to step up and protect the people he loves, he’s also a bit of a goofball who never turns down a game of fetch.

These three make quite the crew. ❤️🐕

One of the most common things we hear after a dog goes home is, “I just don’t have time to train every day.”

The good news is you don’t need hours.

Most dogs can maintain and improve their training with just a few focused minutes a day. Work a little heel on your walk. Practice kennel command on the Kuranda bed while you make dinner or while you have watch.

Training doesn’t have to be a separate event in your day, it can become part of your routine.

The key isn’t finding more time. It’s being consistent with the time you already have.
