This past weekend, we had three of our kids qualify for the Keystone Championship: Jonah Kiner at 82, Zander Hartman at 110, and Jax Crow at 172.

Jonah put up a tough fight, going 3-2, but unfortunately, he fell just before the blood round. You can always count on this kid to show up and give 110% for every match he wrestles!

Zander had a great first match, winning 6-1. However, he faced a tough second match, losing to the kid who ended up taking first. Which dropped him into the consi bracket. His next loss had him bowing out of the tournament.

Jax went 2-2, securing two pins. He was winning his last match when he was taken down with only 11 seconds remaining, resulting in a loss of 11-9.

Despite the losses, our boys continue to improve at wrestling. Simply qualifying for this tournament is something many wrestlers do not achieve.

We are incredibly proud of all their efforts and we are excited to watch their growth in this sport.

Congratulations boys!

Let’s give a big shout out to Coach Clint and Coach Snook for the time and effort they have put into our Jr High program.

When they begrudgingly stepped into their coaching roles, the middle school program was struggling. These two coaches have completely turned it around; kids are excited about the sport of wrestling again!!

The stories of who cheated at dodgeball will be something the boys will endlessly argue about. There were alliances made…so I’m told😂

Good luck to our wrestlers moving onto 9th grade. Good luck to our rising 7th/8th graders next year! We are all excited to see what you do!!

Thanks again, coaches! Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we all appreciate it! 💪🏼💪🏼

This weekend, the PJW State tournament was held in Johnstown. Our Jr High team had five kids qualify for the tournament.

Jonah Kiner, Easton Stonebraker, Zander Hartman, Liam Snook, and Dom Peters.

Jonah Kiner - went 2-2. He wrestled like an absolute monster throughout the tournament but fell short just before the blood round.

Easton Stonebraker - went 0-2. He wrestled tough but unfortunately came up short. The competition at this tournament is incredibly tough.

Zander Hartman - also went 0-2. He had an uphill battle from the start. In his first match, he wrestled a kid from Bishop McCort, which sent him to the consolation bracket. Unfortunately, his next match was tough, and he lost out of the tournament.

Liam Snook - went 2-2. He wrestled in the championship bracket until he met a kid from Bishop McCort in the quarterfinals, which sent him to the consolation bracket. From there, he won his next match but lost in the blood round. Despite his loss, he still managed to secure a top 12 finish in the State tournament.

Dom Peters - had a 2-2 record. He won his first match but unfortunately lost his second match, which sent him to the consis. From there, it was an uphill battle for him. He managed to win his next match and was so close to winning his third match, but he fell short.

These boys have worked incredibly hard throughout the entire season, and reaching the postseason tournaments is a true accomplishment. Congratulations on making it, many wrestlers don’t have the opportunity to participate in tournaments at this level.

Our last match of the season was tonight against Red Land. Shout out to Red Land’s Jr. High coaches for agreeing to wrestle all of our evenly matched kids against each other. It was a great match, with a ton of excitement for both sides.

We won against Red Land, 41–34, bringing our record for the season to 16–2, losing only to Saucon Valley and Northern Lebanon.

Way to go, boys! You should all be proud of yourselves and the hard work you put in this season.💪🏼🫧
