So today is a bitter sweet day. There's a kid that formed a bond with Megan Rene Burroughs at the beginning of the year. Mid way through the year, I made a transition within the school to take over the science lab. This student and I had formed a bond like no other. We made a deal that if he finished the year strong and stayed the course, he could earn a number plate of mine. He instantly said yes. I had brought my bike up to the school in the last part of the year and the look in his eyes, to say the least, was pure happiness. Today he earned MY Red Plate. I had won the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Summer/Fall series last year. The smile in his eyes when I gave it to him was amazing too see. Super proud of this young man. CONTINUE TO BE GREAT!
