Altitude Flyball has done it again! Big thanks for a wonderful tournament weekend. 5280 Spaceballs had a blast! We were feeling the love from a lot of clubs: Altitude for hosting such a great tournament, Switchback for letting sweet Reilly run with us on Vets, BCBoomerangs' Storm for backing us up on Vets, Be Right Back and Megan Cap for loaning us Akona, and Denver Speed Demons for adopting our little man, Sir Fuzz Bucket III to run with them! Buck Buck ran four races with DSD, alternating in Positions 2 and 3, and two of those races were Perfect Races. He ran one with MegaMaids in Position 4 and it was also a Perfect Race, making Lori Beach (and us!) proud of his consistency!

We ran a Vets team for the first time in a long while. Birthday Girl, Aly, ran her C***r again, after what felt like a thousand year rehab. She did SO well (though she didn’t get the memo that she should slow down and take it a little easy for a bit!). Amp continued to be our steady, reliable rock star. Big thanks to our teamie, Beth Qiang, for running him so well! Kara’s Chama (Lama Bing B**g) earned her FDCh-S title, and held that ball!! Kara was able to back her up release point so she came into the start with some real speed! The Original Gangsta Joey ran steadily and confidently. Morgan’s Reilly, a 12 year old Aussie, is apparently manifesting her inner Benjamin Button. She was amazing!

Mega Maids ran beautifully all weekend, with 4 perfect races. Terri Leeb’s Moji had his best weekend yet. We believe in you, Moj! Bentley made Sue Haner proud with her consistency, and general adorableness. Emma’s Morty celebrated his birthday weekend with more than one perfect race, and getting his FDCh-G title!! Beth Fulster ran Victoria Kander’s Navi in start like she’d been doing it her whole life.

Our dogs in training are also looking good! Franzi’s Joey 2.0 and Beth’s Aspen ran singles like champs. Tag!, the Stig and Finn had some great mat time. Finn keeps getting braver and braver and his box hits are looking good! Tag is showing such amazing potential, and Dana’s Stig is finding out he does in fact have a brain!

Thanks again, Altitude! It was a great weekend!

Thank you Perro Loco Flyball Team for hosting UFLi in Colorado!

What an incredible weekend of racing, it was so fun watching so many fast teams - lots of inspiration for the up and coming generation!

We loved all the extra touches from the cookies and awards to the photo booth and dino-tail pinning. And of course...it's one of our favorite venues thanks to the on site concessions with b**r!

Everyone was so kind, welcoming and supportive - especially the judges! Thank you all for your patience as we had some box issues Saturday, and the occasional brain fart between venue rule differences.

Spaceballs were thrilled for the opportunity to share UFLi with some of our members who have never played. Needless to say, they've got the bug!

Loved having the flexibility to run baby dogs and those closing in on retirement with singles, pairs and preflight.

Some quick brags:

We somehow took second on Sunday in a very fun division/3rd on Saturday

Moji raced well and even had some me thoughts about collecting into the box - not just box slam!

Chama, our newest racer got more and more confident with every heat, running in the pack and tightening passes!

Buck ran some sub 6 L2L times in singles and was super focused!

No injuries for Mehgan from running Navi or Nova!

Tony came in clutch, proving himself once again as Club Wife!

Morty, Juniper and OG were flawless!

Finn the Dalmatian was happy and confident!

Aspen ROCKED her preflight, looking strong after TPLO!

C***r did her first full runs 11 months post-op from a dorsal laminectomy!

Moses, The Stig and Tag managed some great skills in a tough environment!

Bentley's turn was super-snappy with a recent switch to super-squishies!

Congrats to everyone, looking forward to the next one!!!

The Stig and LiMu the Emu. Separated at birth. 😂😂

Getting ready for Colorado's first U-FLi! Come cheer on some of the fastest teams in North America, racing is going to be a BLAST!

So grateful to have opportunities for singles and pairs so we can give more of our pups a chance to run this weekend in this transition year!
