Growing up in the gym, I had the privilege of watching Coach Kelly coach alongside my stepdad, Coach Will. Their dedication to the game and to the young athletes they mentored sparked my lifelong love for basketball and coaching. Coach Kelly devoted 32 seasons to coaching, and together he and Coach Will spent more than 25 years building not only successful teams but also strong, confident young athletes.

Little Viks Hoopsters was founded in 2022 to carry forward the vision they shared—to introduce youth in our community to the game of basketball while developing the next generation of Vikings.

Our program is built on the same values Coach Kelly lived and taught every day: pride, competitiveness, tenacity, grit, and an unwavering work ethic. We believe basketball is about more than developing skills on the court; it’s about building character, confidence, and a commitment to excellence that extends far beyond the game.

Coach Kelly’s influence will continue to be felt through every practice, every coach, and every young athlete who wears a Little Viks Hoopsters jersey. We are honored to carry on the foundation he helped create and remain committed to the vision he and Coach Will shared.

Rest in peace, Coach Kelly. Thank you for 32 incredible seasons of leadership, mentorship, and service to our community. Your legacy will forever live on through Little Viks Hoopsters and the generations of young athletes you inspired.
