Hi everyone, just another reminder that on November 7th, the Varsity team has a game at 8:20 at NCRC (Ebensburg rink). This will be Matt Cavrak's 300th game as a varsity coach. The organization and the LMHL will be presenting a plaque to Cavy to commemorate his many (many) years with the organization. I would love to see a strong showing from our alumni for this game. Cavy deserves it. The Middle School team also has a game that night at 5:50. Hope you can make it! Also, he doesn't know about it yet, so please don't tell him.

Please take a moment to share this post and/or spread the word. We made the difficult decision to open up, which means we are no longer a school sport, in an effort to grow the organization and to ensure that hockey continues to be available to kids in Somerset and now surrounding areas.

We are now able to have students that attend any school in Somerset County (except Windber and Conemaugh Township), Cambria Heights, Ligonier, Derry (Varsity Only) and Northern Cambria.

Check out this opportunity for club hockey in Somerset County! This is not an SASD-sponsored activity. Students in all area schools welcome!

Hey everyone, SAHA is holding it's Inaugural Golf Outing at the Somerset County Club on September 28. This would be a really good event to have a strong alumni presence. Hope you can make it!

Hey everyone, I wanted to bring back the alumni hockey page. There will be a clothing order forthcoming in case you lost your vintage gray somerset hockey hoodie or if you want other somerset hockey attire. Also, the hockey organization is in need of used equipment to supply to new players. Lastly, is there any interest in throwing together an alumni game sometime in the spring. Hope all is well.
