Hello OTA Families,

Happy New Year! 🎉
We hope you had a wonderful and restful holiday season.

We’re excited to let you know that our Taekwondo Academy will be OPEN on Friday, January 2, as we officially return from our Christmas break.

The hardest part of fitness is not starting —
it’s starting again after a break.

That’s why January matters.

Coming back to class right away helps students:
• Rebuild healthy routines
• Regain focus and confidence
• Turn “I’ll start next week” into a real habit

You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to show up.

This Friday is not about intensity —
it’s about resetting the rhythm and starting the year with discipline, movement, and a positive mindset.

The kids I still remember so clearly.
Their faces, their eyes—it all comes back so vividly.

When they first started Taekwondo,
their focus was unbelievable.
Even when I spoke in broken Konglish,
they somehow understood perfectly.
It wasn’t about language.
It was about attitude.

I remember them crawling around the dojang floor
with my daughter,
pacifiers in their mouths,
so small, so innocent.

Then, Christmas 2025—we met again. 🥹

They had grown so much.
One of them even brought his girlfriend to his military discharge party.
In that moment,
I felt a glimpse of what it must be like
to be a mother with a son.

She was kind and beautiful.
That made my heart feel at ease.

I feel like I’m still the same,
but the kids…
they grew up.
