Do you want to take virtual lessons?
We have 2 different instructors doing two different types.
1 is live dressage lessons where you either have a pivo or second person to hold the phone
The other are after-the-fact hunter lessons - video your riding session, upload it, then watch it with the instructor for feedback.

We are going to do a series on dressage exercises! I’m going to share one per day. Please try them and give us your feedback on which ones work well for you and which ones are your go tos! Have others you want to share? Please do!!!

Today’s exercise:
Riding a spiral at trot.

How do you do it?
You start on a 20 meter circle and spiral in SLOWLY
20 meters
18 meters
15 meters
12 meters
10 meters
8 meters

Then back out
10…12…15…18…20

Then reverse and ride is the opposite direction.

Things to watch for:
Correct bend
Inside leg at the girth
Outside leg behind the girth
Inside hand back more than your outside hand
Is your outside hand and leg controlling the size of your circles while the inside is controlling the bend?

Why do we do it?
Flexibility, bend, “pushing power”
