🥎Pitchers Take Note! 🥎

If you haven’t been following Mississippi State, you should.

Mississippi State showed the softball world something people need to pay attention to…

You do not have to throw 70+ mph to shut down an elite offense.

They took on one of the toughest lineups in the country in Oklahoma Sooners softball and did it with spin, command, sequencing, and confidence.

They pounded the zone.
They trusted their movement.
They changed eye levels.
They executed.
Velocity range = upper 50s, low to mid 60s.

High level spin and elite command.
So many people obsess over velocity while ignoring the things that actually make the best hitters, scared.

• Late movement
• Location
• Pitch design
• Sequencing
• Spin efficiency
• Changing timing

Velocity matters… but spin and command play at every level of this game.
Everyone developing pitchers should take note of what Mississippi State did this week.

Help us wish Clara a big Happy Birthday!!

All In Athletics came out to our first tournament of the season!! Came up a little short losing 2-1 in the championship game.
For our first weekend I couldn’t have asked for much more. These ladies gave 💯 all day long!!

Congrats to Katelyn on getting MVP!!
Clara and LG on their Home Runs!!

A couple players I would also like to recognize is
RY. She was asked to play a new position moving from center field to shortstop. She absolutely killed it and very impressed with her performance!!

AK was absolutely on fire at the plate leading the team in batting average and OBS. She has taken a new mentality and approach to the plate and was zoned in!! Proud of you kiddo!!

Now it’s time to get back to work and clean up a few things and get ready for next weekend!!
