Speed is ultimately a coordination problem. My role is to understand how an athlete’s system is operating, how they’re interacting with the ground, producing and directing force, and coordinating movement through the neuromuscular system. As I run alongside them, I’m constantly assessing rhythm, timing, posture, limb exchange, stiffness, and force application. More importantly, I’m teaching the athlete how to feel and understand those positions so they can self-organize more efficiently. Through technical coaching and feedback, we improve intermuscular coordination, timing, rhythm, and impulse production, allowing the athlete to apply greater force in the right direction at the right moment. Speed isn’t just about producing more force, it’s about coordinating force more effectively.

She’s ready physically and mentally!

REESE BRICKWOOD | 30M SPRINT PROFILE

Before training begins, we test.

A 30-meter sprint tells us far more than just how fast an athlete is. It allows us to evaluate acceleration, force production, power output, sprint mechanics, and identify where the greatest opportunities for improvement exist.

🚨 THE DATA DOESN’T LIE. 🚨

Last year, Emerson averaged 12.63 in the 100m and 26.48 in the 200m. This season, she’s averaging 11.95 and 24.61.

That’s a drop of 0.68 seconds in the 100m and 1.87 seconds in the 200m.

The goal was never one fast race. The goal was consistency. The data shows a completely different athlete than a year ago.

It’s never our goal to run fast once or twice. The question is: can we do it over and over and over again?

That takes the right coaching, the right training, and an athlete who understands how to consistently reproduce high-level performances.

We don’t rely on talent alone to get us there. We rely on science, philosophy, and a proven process to guide the outcome.

The athlete must learn to understand the positions, the timing, the intent, and the feeling of the movement. When they can replicate those qualities consistently, performance stops being accidental and starts becoming predictable.

Anyone can have a great day. The best athletes learn how to create great days repeatedly.
