Green Tennis Club Welcome to the Green Tennis Club where the tennis is a smash! Are you looking for a way to learn the basics, get fit, meet other people or play competitively?

The Green Tennis Club offers a variety of adult tennis activities to provide each player an opportunity to participate in the manner of their choosing. If you are new to the game, try our Rookie Tennis session which will give you a chance to learn the basics and meet others just getting started with tennis. If you are interested in improving your fitness, check out our Cardio Tennis. If you want t

o combine training, instruction and competition, check out our men’s and women’s drills. If you want competition, we offer both men’s and women’s leagues. In addition, open court time is available to purchase. For junior players, the Green Tennis Club offers a variety of tennis activities providing them an opportunity to have fun, learn new skills and prepare for competitive play. We offer a drill for elementary school age children which provides these kids an opportunity to learn the basics of the game in a fun filled environment. For middle school aged children, we offer a session which builds on the basic skills the kids have acquired and prepares them for competition. For those in high school, we provide supervised league play which enables them to participate in a competitive activity. During the summer, we offer week long camps for elementary, middle school and high school students. Finally, we offer reduced rates on open court time for junior players. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the life of Coach Russell and his tennis legacy yesterday. It was incredible to hear how Russell impacted so many lives—both on and off the tennis court. Court 2 is now named “Russell Wormald” to honor Russell and all he had given for tennis and for Green Tennis Club.

Russell Wormald was far more than a tennis instructor. He was the heart and soul of our tennis community. For 18 years, Russell poured his unmatched generosity, deep knowledge, and vibrant spirit into everyone he met. He didn't just teach tennis; he inspired a lifelong love for the game across generations.
To those of us who had the distinct honor of working beside him at the Green Tennis Club, he was a fiercely loyal coworker, a dedicated patron, and a deeply cherished friend. Russell’s passing leaves a profound void, but his incredible legacy lives on in every student he coached and every life he touched.


Please join us as we come together to celebrate the life, the laughter, and the lasting impact of this truly great man.
