Happy Mother’s Day to all Mothers with their children or who are separated from their children or families. We remember and honor you this day, not with empty words but with heartfelt prayers and commitment for you this day.

A Mother’s Love is not political
A Mother’s Love is not racial
A Mother’s Love is not conditional

It is a love born of the gift that brings LIFE to this world. No one can extinguish its light no matter how hateful the rhetoric or attempts to separate that mother from her child. Her child lives in her heart as long as her heart beats and even after it stops.

Your leaves are us, your children, continuing the work you began while you support us from above.

We, descendants of mothers who sacrificed EVERYTHING to support us, remember you this day and every day forward. Your love will NOT BE IN VAIN…
