BladeSource was formally established on the Internet in 1994 as a part time venture to help support my addiction to Knife Collecting. After selling my Financial Services Business and retiring, I opened a small brick and mortar store in the San Francisco Bay Area. When I re-retired I spent about 3 years in Washington State

where I spent a fair amount of time under the tutelage of Journeyman Knife Maker Frank Jacobs learning the basics of knife making. One of the prettiest places on earth and some of the best hunting and fishing you could ever want. I partnered in a Bait & Tackle Shop and offered a full line of knives, as well as working local Gun Shows. I acquired a 40 foot shipping container which I set up as a shop. Realizing I was working full time again, I divested myself of the Bait & Tackle Shop, cut back on the number of gun shows I was working. I then re-dedicated my efforts to the Internet. BladeSource.com is the result of that re-dedication.
