Veterans Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial Park The 43.8 acre park located in Union, Missouri had the ground breaking ceremony on July 1, 2013.

The multi-use park is located at the corner of Veterans Memorial Drive and Progress Parkway. In Spring 2017, the new park was officially opened to the public.

The Saturday work day saw quite a bit of continued progress. All of the northwestern corner excavation and roadbed work was completed including the passing track (left), water track (middle, this is where steam engines go to get more water) and the branch that leads to the steaming bays and turntable.

For maintenance purposes, all parks are closed for today and tomorrow. November 23 and 24th, will reopen on the 25th of November. Sorry for the inconvenience.
