As our senior takes the stage today we hope she leaves and impression on you as she has us.

Sydney has been dancing for 10 years and been a member of our competitive dance team all ten years.

* Favorite dance style: jazz/lyrical

* Favorite dance you’ve ever performed: My solo “Look”

* Favorite costume: My solo “Stone cold”

* Favorite competition or recital memory: My favorite competition memory was coaching Ariebella through her first solo backstage.

* Favorite thing about being on the dance team: The people and memories you make along the years

* A teammate who has inspired you: Cambell has inspired me because of her work ethic and passion to dance

* Funniest backstage memory: My funniest backstage memory is when I made Nicole laugh so hard she peed herself (she was very pregnant) 😂

* What you’ll miss most about dance: What I’ll miss most about dance is getting to perform on stage and getting to see my best friends every day

* Where are you graduating from? Sullivan High School

* Future plans (college, career, etc.): I’m planning to attend East Central College to become a radiology technician

* Will you continue dancing? I plan to teach dance at the studio and possibly dance

* What has dance taught you? Dance has taught me how to be confident in myself and cherish my friendships.

* Advice for younger dancers: My advice to younger dancers is to always put your best foot forward and cherish every moment you have on stage because they go by so fast.

* One word to describe your dance journey: Memorable

* Favorite dance move: Russian turns

* Pre-performance ritual: Hug my friends and shake out the nerves in the curtain

Sydneys story does not end tonight it becomes a new chapter. She joins us on staff next year.
