Excuse the change of angles. Doing this one handed is not terribly easy. It’s amazing how preparing for a solo outing allows you to try different methods of shelter, fire, cooking etc. I used a regular cheap magnifying glass to start a fast and sustained fire.

Progression on my shoulder. Stitches are out and no Dr. restrictions, just the limitations of the healing process. Physical therapy every day. I’ll attach pictures from yesterday. If you’re queasy don’t look 😎

I’m always amazed by this plant. It is one spray or tea rose plant that produces both red and white roses!!

Surgery was a success. Thank you to the fantastic medical staff. Now on to recovery! A major part of it will be in the woods!

Campgrounds in Indiana just opened. I see a trip coming soon. Tore my rotator cuff so it’s going to take extra planning . Anything in particular you want to see? New tent? Maybe a good way to keep cool on summer nights?

A slight easing of restrictions near us. Medical offices can now start seeing patients including physical therapy and radiology. I hope you all are safe and healthy.
