2025 Season Reflection 🐝🏈

Hornet Nation, we want to take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported this program.

We had a great year, finishing in the 3rd round of the playoffs and continuing to elevate the standard of Hornet football. Offensively, our players showed toughness, discipline, and consistency all season long—averaging 25.2 points per game, totaling 3,628 rushing yards( 279 per game ) and scoring 38 rushing touchdowns. That production is a direct reflection of buy-in, physicality, and relentless work.

Defensively, our growth was just as impressive. We held opponents to 21.2 points per game with only three teams scoring over 21 points, recorded 18.5 sacks, 9 interceptions, and 6 forced fumbles and recoveries. This season was nothing short of historic. For the first time, we won a playoff game and hosted a playoff game and won as well. The best season since 1972, that is a reflection of hardwork.

Over the last two years we have made incredible progress as a program. None of this happens without great , hard working people. I am extremely grateful for our coaching staff, who pour countless hours into developing young men on and off the field; our administrators, superintendent, central office, and board members, our parents, community, and supporters who stand behind us every step of the way.

It’s a new day, and it’s a great day to be a Hornet!
