Day 2 of Opening Weekend gave us a little bit of sun, a lot of wind and another double header!

Both teams played great - its really awesome to see young players crank the ball out so far. We all sit on the edge of our seats hoping for that out of the park hit!!

Opening Weekend at Totality Field ⚾️

Opening Day saw the Darke Reign take on the Piqua Braves, with the teams splitting the doubleheader — a solid start to the season.

Crisp 41°, sunshine, and the sound of baseball back where it belongs.

And we're right back at it today with another doubleheader.

Opening weekend, just as it should be.

Not many people can say they have a backyard baseball field. Even fewer have their own team! Early this spring, Chris was approached by an 11U coach looking for a home field. He wasn't sure Totality Field would be a good fit, but invited coach over to take a look. After safety net installation, hastily built but sturdy benches, a make-shift self-serve concession stand, and a lot of grounds work, the DC Stars hit the field. It's like a dream, a slice of Norman Rockwell Americana that can't be captured photos. We've been having a great time hosting the DC Stars and their families as well as the away teams who've traveled from all parts Miami Valley.
