My name is Seth Brown and I am a certified National Academy of Sports Medicine personal trainer, Weight Loss Specialist, Sport Nutrition Specialist, and Group Fitness Specialist, as well as being certified for CPR and AED by the American Red Cross. I have over 20 years combined experience in mid to long distance running competitions and res

istance training of all types. These are experiences that I would like to share with others, while bringing a higher quality of life to everyone that chooses to team up with me on their fitness journey. I've worked with well over 100 clients up this point, that includes everyone from High School/College Athletes to elder Silver Sneakers members. I've also been honored to be a part of 2 region titles over the last 5 years as the strength and conditioning coach of 2 different football programs. Whether it be muscle gain, fat loss, or corrective training to help with imbalances in posture and musculature, these are all goals I can help my clients to achieve. I've had experience with all of them myself and through my own trial and error, along with continuing my fitness education, I have developed numerous proven programs. I am confident providing guidance to anyone that is having trouble meeting their fitness goals, just starting out, or looking to take things to the next level. This record has stood since 1992 and Blake just crushed it by 2 tenths. It was also the fastest time on the day regardless of classification. What a competitor! I’ll have more to say about all this later. But for now I’m gonna let my nerves calm down and probably go puke. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😂😂

Blake heads out of the state prelims and into day 2 as the #1 qualifier in both the 110 and 300!

He’s put in the peak work here to maintain mobility and explosiveness (something we’ve worked for since shaving 2 tenths off his winter indoor 60M).

Weather will be less than desirable tomorrow, in the low 40’s and rain, but he’s still got state record books in sight! Good luck to Mr. Cook and all the other local athletes repping NW PA going forward!

During last weeks race prep/session we really sorta mentally dug into what’s at stake the next couple weeks. Legacy, names in record books. Historic things that were all very attainable. Districts was part one of that….

Rewind all the way back to November when we started working together in the very first session and one of our talks was “I want the state record in May.”… to officially hold that record the time HAS to happen at states. Time to watch the rest unfold!

So dang proud of this dude!!!

Blake Cook of Corry Area broke the District 10 record in the 300-meter hurdles yesterday with an incredible performance of 37.33. His time also surpassed the existing Pennsylvania state record of 37.47.
Even more impressive, both runners in the race broke the previous state mark. The other runner was Jack Dolak of Harbor Creek.
Cook and Dolak are not only competitors, but also friends and teammates on the Erie Lake Effect AAU Track Team.

**MEMBERS**
Thank you to those who have made time to stop in and get your new key. It was a system switch over that wasn't in the plans and we appreciate your patience and understanding!

***If you haven't seen me already for your new key, please send a text ASAP to set up a time.***

We will be traveling for our daughter's horse show and want to make sure you can use the gym if you try. Doling out keys to 300+ members in a matter of a few days isn't a small undertaking and we are grateful for all of you that helped it go as smoothly as possible!

ATTENTION MEMBERS!!!!

Tomorrow morning we’ll be switching out the old key fob system for a new one. YOUR EXISTING KEY WILL NOT WORK! Please try to stop in tomorrow afternoon or regular office hours on Friday(9-6) to swap your key.

If this doesn’t work then I will be in for a couple hours on Saturday morning or we can schedule a meet next week.

I can’t begin to explain how excited I am when it comes to PT client Shelly Webb! Shell and I started together just over 3 years ago, and in that time the physical and mental transformation I’ve witnessed has been amazing! Her main goal at the start of all this was honestly to just prioritize good general fitness but she really just wanted to get strong and sure of her physical abilities. One of her main goals was one single chin up. WELL HOW MANY LADIES DO YOU KNOW THAT CAN DO 7 CHIN UPS?!?!?!?

Physically, in the last 3 years, Shelly is down:
- 41 lbs
-11% bodyfat
- 6 inches around the waist
- 5 inches around thigh
- 6 inches at the hips
- 2.5 inches around the upper arm

It can’t go unsaid that while we were getting our 2 workouts per week, Shelly was also getting in her own workouts at her home or here at the gym another once or twice per week. She also put in the effort to nail the nutrition blueprint I put in place.

HARD WORK PAYS OFF!!! Proud of you, Shelly!
