This program was developed by a certified personal trainer and Fitness Coordinator at MGSC and is led by Selena Winstead, a Physical Education teacher at James Logan High School.

It is designed specifically for teens ages 13–17 who want to learn how to use the fitness room safely and confidently.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of strength training, proper technique, how to use equipment, and how to build and follow a workout routine. The focus is on building a strong foundation and developing habits that will carry over long-term.

Upon completion, participants will earn fitness room access privileges, allowing them to continue training even if they are under the typical age requirement.

Spots are limited to ensure a safe and hands-on learning environment.
