🚨FUNDRAISING TIME🚨

Hey everyone! We are beginning fundrasing for summer camp expenses for the cheer team and we would love to have the community’s support! If you can’t donate, please share! The 1st fundraiser we are doing is a rally calendar.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS: The goal is to get a sponsor for each day of the month! They will donate the dollar amount represented by the date. EXAMPLE: Sponsor May 22nd and donate $22. Sponsor May 10th and 25th and donate $35. It is that easy! 🎉😊

Any donations from this post will be divided up equally between the team - unless specified otherwise.

Congratulations to everyone who made the team! We are so excited to officially welcome you to our program and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish this season.

A huge thank you as well to every athlete who came out and gave their all at tryouts—we truly appreciate your time, effort, and courage to step on the mat.

We’re looking forward to an exciting year ahead filled with growth, teamwork, and unforgettable moments.

⭐️You must attend AT LEAST ONE if you plan to tryout in person

Tryouts:
📆 Friday (4/17)
⏰ Start at 3:30 and last until all groups have gone - you may leave as soon as your group has completed their tryout.

If you cannot attend clinics or tryouts please contact coach Mock NO LATER than Wednesday at 6pm

Our hearts are heavy as we extend our deepest condolences to a neighboring cheer community on the tragic loss of their coach.

There are no words that can truly ease a loss like this, but please know you are in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. The impact a coach has goes far beyond the mat — shaping athletes, building confidence, and creating a family that lasts a lifetime. Ericka was one of a kind and will be missed by everyone who knew her. 🫶

The Ansonia Athletic Department is saddened to hear of the passing of our Varsity Cheerleading Head Coach, Ericka Kramer. Coach Ericka will be deeply missed. Please keep the Kramer Family in your thoughts and prayers. FOREVER A TIGER

Cheerleading Tryouts are coming up! 📣

We’re excited to start preparing for the 2026 cheer season, and we’re looking for athletes who want to bring energy, leadership, and school spirit to the sidelines and competition floor.

Our program continues to grow every year, and we have some new things coming this season that we’re really excited about. If you’ve ever thought about cheering, this is the perfect time to get involved!

✔️ Two clinic options to help you prepare
✔️ A new one-season option for those who want to try cheer without committing to the full year
✔️ Virtual tryout option available for those who cannot attend in person

April 14, 15, & 17, 2026

Whether you’re brand new or returning, we’d love to see you there. Come challenge yourself, make new friends, and be part of something special.

We wrapped up our cheer season with our banquet, and I couldn’t be more proud of this group. 💙

This team put in the work for a TEN-month season, and it showed in how much they grew — not just as athletes, but as teammates and individuals. From football sidelines to basketball games and even competing twice this season, they stepped up, pushed themselves, and represented our program so well. Watching their confidence, skills, and teamwork develop throughout the year is what makes coaching so rewarding.

This was my 6th year coaching, and every season reminds me why I love being part of this program and working with such great kids.

I also want to say how incredibly grateful I am for the support behind these athletes. Thank you to the parents who give their time, rides, encouragement, and constant support all season long. Thank you to the people in our community who donate and help make things possible for our program. And thank you to everyone who takes a moment to congratulate the girls after games or competitions — those small moments of recognition mean so much to them.

I’m so proud of everything this team accomplished this year and thankful for the community that supports them.

And we’re not done yet… 👀
