Our OCMS Basketball Teams have been hard at work this summer. They have competed in multiple team camps across West TN and will finish up their summer run next week at Gleason. 🏀

We love when the high school invites us for a family get together! Over 80 middle and high school athletes showed up this morning to take on the Murph Challenge. We are so proud of the effort and heart these Rebels showed. It’s always a great day to be a Rebel! ❤️💙

This is our first official post on OCMS: Beyond the Classroom, where you can find and celebrate the extracurricular activities of OCMS students! The Obion County Middle School page, where announcements will be made, will be shared at a later date, so be on the lookout and follow both pages to stay up to date on all things OCMS! ❤️💙

On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

OCMS Cross Country observed Memorial Day by completing a modified “Murph” Challenge in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy:

🇺🇸 1 mile run
🇺🇸 100 sit-ups
🇺🇸 100 push-ups
🇺🇸 100 squats
🇺🇸 1 mile run

This was more than just a workout. It was a reminder that Memorial Day is a day of reflection, gratitude, and honor.

We are proud of these athletes for their effort and heart, and we extend our deepest thanks to all soldiers, veterans, and especially the families who have lost loved ones in service to our country.
