That's a wrap folks!! The 3rd Annual 3 State Snake Stomp is in the books!!! Quite a few new friendships have been made and many old ones have been strengthened.

Here's a little collage of some of the fun socializing we had during the weekend. What a fun group of people and cars to get to be a part of....it's truly a blessing! We had people come from TN, VA, SC, OH and LA.....WOW!!! Thank you for coming and spending your weekend with us, we are so glad you did!!

Be sure to mark your calendars for the 4th Annual 3 State Snake Stomp which will be June 10-12, 2022!!!
Can't wait til next June!!!

What a day!!! A little rain won't deter the hard core riders. 😉. Rain here and there, but tons of fun. A slight detour after a second wreck on the snake (none of us were involved) but the second half was going to be closed down for about 2.5 hours, so we had to bypass Bristol today. A quick route change was no problem with this group, we all went with the flow and ended up going to a great BBQ Restaurant back towards to hotel (thank you for your Google abilities Mandi 😁).

Really guys, it was a great day!! Huge thank you to everyone that braved the elements and came out to enjoyed the day with us!!! Next year can't come soon enough! ❤️

It's finally here!!!! We get to stomp that snake tomorrow guys!

Quick thing: But sure to get to Walmart BEFORE 9:00am. We will be having the drivers meeting/welcome meeting at 9:00am, so you will want to already be gassed up and ready to go before the meeting starts.

I just can't tell you how excited I am about this weekend! Looking forward to catching up with friends and getting to know new ones. That's really what it's all about. We love the cars, the uniqueness of the cars, the fun of owning them, the little quirks they have. Let's be honest, they are just like the people that drive them and that is what makes these events so much fun, getting to know who the car owns....Ha, Ha, Ha, we all know that's the truth...the car owns us, not the other way around. 😍
So take a little time this weekend and get to know your fellow "owned" VW lovers....you will be so glad you did!!!!
Ok enough of my sappyness today, just know that I AM EXCITED!!!

The time has come!!! We are just a few short days away from the 3rd Annual 3 State Snake Stomp!!!

There's going to be a lot of information in this post, so here we go!!!

I have attached directions on picture form for anyone that wants them.

A couple of things to remember or put on your list..

1. Two way radios: If you have them, bring them (also make sure they are charged or have fresh batteries 😁). The radios assists with communication throughout the ride, (upcoming directions/ turns, any possible road hazards, etc., and sometimes you even get a little trivia/strange facts (you are welcome) about the area.

2. Lunch: Lunch will be BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch 😁) You can bring your lunch with you, or you can purchase something for lunch at our first stop (Rose's). The planned lunch spot is the Minerals Museum. (Unfortunately, the museum is not available for tours still, but the restrooms are available and a small gift shop area, there is a limited number of people allowed inside at a time).

3. Chairs: Bring chairs for you and your party for the lunch stop, and possibly for the hotel to hang out and relax.

4. Munchies and Drinks: Munchies and drinks are always a good idea. A small cooler and bag of goodies will never do your wrong.

Get there earlier if you wish, be sure you are gassed up and be ready to go when it's time to roll.

Saturday Night:
Cool down and relaxing and socializing back at Sleep Inn and Suites. This is a great time to hang out and catch up with old friends or get to know the news ones you just met.

FYI, they are having a Drive-In Lazer Light Show in Bristol this weekend, on both Friday night and Saturday night. Just wanted to out that our there in case anyone was interested. You can check the Bristol Motor Speedway website or Facebook for times and pricing.

Hi all!! This is Tracy Shepard and I saw that there was an interest in shirts for this year's event. So, I went a little off the normal this year, because let's be honest, nothing has been normal lately. This is a bit of a surprise for everyone....but here goes. I created a design for this year's event and will be making shirts for anyone that is interested! 🤩

These will be available for pre-orders only! Orders must be made to me (Tracy Shepard) no later than Thursday, May 20th. (Just to be sure I can get them all made in time).

The shirts are a performance, 100% polyester soft shirt. They are a light silver in color and the image is sublimated into the fabric, which means it will not crack, peel, or scratch off like vinyl might.

Pricing will be:
Small - XL = $16.00
2XL - 4XL = $18.00
5XL - 6XL = $20.00

FYI-In my opinion, they run just slightly smaller than a regular T-shirt due to not having the stretch like a plain cotton shirt, so order your size accordingly.

HELLO fellow STOMPERS!!!!

It may be April 1st, but this is NO JOKE, the 3 State Snake Stomp is on for June 11th-13th, 2021!! Are you as excited as we are? If not, then get excited. Hotel link is attached. This year we will be staying at the Sleep Inn and Suites, Johnson City. The link will give the option of one King bed room or two Queen beds room at a rate of $80 per night.

There are a limited number of rooms blocked at that rate and if any rooms are not reserved by May 20, 2021, those rooms will then revert to their regular rate. So, how about I, who else can't wait get out and have some fun? -Tracy

Hello All!

I knew this day would come but how can you ever be ready to announce the loss of one of your own.

We found out we lost Bob James on the 1st. He was unable to recover from a heart attack and stroke.

The fun and joy Bob brought to the table will sure be missed. Please keep Karen in your thoughts and prayers.

Well Stompers, another 3 State Snake Stomp is in the books. It went by way too fast!!! We want to thank everyone that came out to the event and hope you come back next year and invite more of your beetle friends.

What truly makes these events so memorable is most of all, the PEOPLE! The friendships that are bonded during these events are what matter the most. You all are truly like family to us and, I for one, am already looking forward to next year, which we will start planning very soon!

Thank you to the members of the H2.0 Square group that came to support the event, you were an awesome and fun addition this year.
