The McLean County Fair races sponsored by McLean County Fair ND, Cottingham Insurance Agency DDC Inc Cottingham, and Wholesale Ag Products West kick off tonight at 7pm with day two on Saturday at 5pm!

Classes: IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Hobby Stocks, and WRSS Nonwing Sprintcars

All drivers and fans, please remember that this is an event in collaboration with the McLean County Fair and some of our procedures are different for the weekend. We ask that you be respectful and honest in regard to these changes! This includes no personal parking in the pits, only campers in the pits must be hooked up to a trailer pulling a racecar that is racing for the weekend, and all individuals attending the races must pay gate admission for the fair.

Friday:
Pit gate open at 4:30pm
Grandstand gate open at 5:30pm
Draw/Registration cutoff at 6:15pm
Drivers meeting at 6:20pm
Races start at 7:00pm

Friday's modified race will be an All Star qualifier and Saturday's stock car feature will be one as well.

❗️Due to wet condition in the pit parking area, drivers can park in the overflow parking on the fairgrounds. The area to the east when entering the fairgrounds.❗️

The Tougher than Dirt Tour kicks off tomorrow at 7:00pm! The night is sponsored by Beeter Brothers Construction and Magic Towing!

Classes: IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Hobby Stocks, INEX Legends, and Slingshots

The pit area is open for parking throughout the day, please park within the fenced area and be respectful with the space you take up when parking.

The pit shack will open for registration and pit admission at 4:30pm.

The grandstand gate will open at 5:30pm.

Pit meeting at 6:10pm and draw cutoff at 6:15pm.

Hot laps to be determined.

The pit gate and grandstand gate ACCEPT cards, but the concession stand is CASH ONLY. There is not an ATM on the grounds.

Update:

We have been working diligently to make a plan around the water restriction that will allow us to race this Wednesday, June 3rd for the opening night of the Tougher than Dirt Tour! Another part of the preparation for Wednesday includes rock picking on the racetrack, which is taking place tonight at 6:00pm. Any extra hands would be appreciated!

❗️❗️Important Information ❗️❗️

Enduro and Sport Compact drivers, unfortunately, we CANNOT hold the event tomorrow at the McLean County Speedway. The city of Underwood is under a water use restriction which directly affects our ability to prepare the track for racing. The amount of water needed is not allowed at this time. We will keep you informed on future plans for this event. Please spread the word to any drivers who may not have Facebook!

We are excited to host the 5th annual North Dakota Non-Wing Nationals September 11th and 12th presented by Tipsy Turtle-ND

We will also be running two classes with this event! Classes are yet to be determined. Stay tuned for more details!

🚨Public Service Announcement🚨

Renegade Racing Promotions had made the decision to Move the 5th annual North Dakota Non-Wing Nationals to McLean County Speedway in 2026!

MCS will host for the first time September 11th, & 12th. The North Dakota Non-Wing Nationals presented by Tipsy Turtle, Turtle Lake, ND. Thank you to Tipsy and their whole crew for making this transition possible and believing in local sprint car racing!

Our first full payout and contingency sponsors will be posted. Early payout is $300 to win $150 from 9th to last for Friday nights Qualifying features. $550 to win and $275 to start Championship Night Feature. As well as $225 to start Non-Qualifiers feature. 30+ non wing sprint cars are expected for the event from multiple states (SD, Wi, MN, ND, and CAN).

It’s always a difficult decision to step back, reevaluate and make a decision and stand behind it. We are excited to see what we can do to grow this event for Drivers, Teams, Families, and Sponsors! We want to thank Devils Lake Speedway for hosting the event for the past 4 years. We are ready to move forward and keep building the biggest Non-Wing event in the renegade brand!
