Jon Barb, 10th grade, Rose Hill HS broke a 4 year standing record at the Basketball Barn this week! He eclipsed the record of 23 threes in 1 minute with a score of 24! The previous record of 23 was co-held by Brayden Sadler, Adam James, Lilly Hoffman and Grady Dick. I'm very proud of Jon's progress over the past year. After making alterations in his shot, he's progressed from shooting 35-40% (catch/shoot 3s) to 65-70% ... consistently! Here's a fast motion view of his 1-min session.

We are proud to announce the 1000th free training session for Udall students at the Basketball Barn — a training facility established in January 2017. Offering this to Udall kids is one way we can give back to a community that has been so good to us and our families. Now in retirement, I do it mainly for the “smiles." When a student improves or learns something new, it all seems worthwhile.

Sessions are offered to Udall Students on Wednesdays as time allows. All other days are reserved for students from Udall and surrounding communities at an hourly fee of $35.
