Our 800m dynamic duo did their thing at State! Avery zoomed in for a jaw-dropping 3rd place with a blazing time of 2:00 minutes, while Chris was hot on his heels, nabbing 8th place at 2:02. Hats off to Avery and Chris for a thrilling season! 🎉🏃‍♂️

Camryn Bumgarner has burst onto the high school scene like a firecracker! ✨At her very first state competition for the long jump, she soared to a dazzling 4th place with an astonishing leap of 18 feet 4 inches. But hold onto your hats, because she also smashed the Sandy Creek record in the girls’ 100 meters, blazing through with a personal best of 11.70 seconds! Way to go, Camryn!🎉✨💐

Tyson Penson left it all on the track and then some!🔥He zoomed to a new personal best in the 300m hurdles with a blazing time of 39.24, snagging 3rd place overall at State! 😎But wait, there’s more! Tyson soared to new heights in the pole vault, setting both a personal and SCHOOL RECORD by vaulting 13ft 6 inches, beating his previous record set at region this year! He clinched second place overall! Hats off to you, Tyson! 🎉
