7/21/24:
Hello everyone! Thank you for your inquiries. We're excited to announce that we'll soon be forming a maintenance crew. Please note, the school doesn't provide tools, funds, or resources for maintaining the course; it relies on volunteers who bring their own equipment. In addition: Cutting down trees on our private property is strictly prohibited and constitutes a criminal offense. Offenders will be dealt with by local authorities. We'll be launching a virtual sign-up sheet soon for those interested in volunteering. Tee pads cannot be put in until money is raised and until holes 1-6 & 18 are re-designed (in the works). Additionally, we're already making plans for a 2025 league. Thank you all for your support and care for Sky Pines. Stay tuned for more updates! Questions can be emailed to: [email protected]

3.15.24.
Just wanted to leave an update here, so that people know Sky Pines has not been forgotten. Kyle has transferred this account to some new faces to help take over, adjust, and maintain what was started. We are working with the school to plan some adjustments and upgrades. We know you are all eager to hear what is in store for Sky Pines. We want you to know that it's in amazing hands and we can't wait to share updates with you for 2025. Please remember that this course is closed from 7:30a-3:30pm Monday through Friday. And that holes 1-5, and hole 18 are closed during any school activites and sports. More updates on hours and details coming soon. That's all we have for now. Thank you very much for your patience.

Hey everyone! Love getting to see and meet so many people this summer out on the course. For those who didn't know the disc golf course is on school property and school will be starting up on Tuesday next week (Aug. 31st). One the weeks school is in session the course will be closed on weekdays from 8am - 3pm in order to not have unknown people on the school grounds during the time students are here. In the fall and spring sports teams practice from 3:15 - 5:15 and will be using areas that would impede play on holes 1 and 2. I ask that if you are coming to play BEFORE 5:15 please start your round on hole 3 and finish your round with holes 1 and 2 once athletics are off the fields. Thanks everyone for your amazing support and attention to this. Working in harmony with the school is how we are able to operate and provide a great course for all, happy hucking!!

Just wanted to shoot out a quick post since I've lots of people coming out to the course, which is awesome!! This course is entirely on school property so the course is closed from 8am-3pm Monday - Friday to ensure safety of the students on campus. Night and weekends are all open, just be aware that school sports are also going on which may impede play on holes 1 & 2, sport take precedence given it is their campus so please be courteous. However, the school year ends Monday June 14th, at which point the course will be fully open for play 24/7. Enjoy the nice weather!!

2 quick pieces of information. First given the warm weather coming this week and the potentially for people to be out on the course, hole 18 has a few large trees down in front of the tee area so you will need to skip the water and just throw from the drop zone. Second thing, final 2 baskets were ordered last week so as soon as the ground thaws we'll have the full 18 baskets in and playable! Enjoy getting out and throwing that plastic!

***IMPORTANT UPDATE***

Due to COVID the school has placed large tents outside to allow student to be outdoors for classes. 3 of these tents have been placed in an obstruction to hole 18, so for the time being anyone who is on the course please DO NOT play hole 18 until these tents have been removed. Thank you for your continued support, keep growing the sport!

For anyone out with families or just entering the sport please use 2 features of our course to make your experience more enjoyable. First, on every tee sign there is a QR code to scan that will bring you to a google satellite image of the course mapped out so you can easily find your way hole to hole. Also look for the "Red Tees" on the tee signs, this is the position to throw from for people not experienced in the sport yet. Once you see it on the sign look for small red and white stakes in the ground that mark your start position. Obviously everyone is more than welcome to play the full layout (7,505' par 60) but it was designed to challenge players with 900+ ratings so I can see that being overly challenging for beginners or even lower ranked players and I want everyone's experience to be enjoyable.

Hey everyone, sorry for being so silent here, been a busy summer working on the course. Obviously like most of the country COVID set back our timeframe due to budget. There are currently 16 baskets in and all 18 fairways are cut and playable, however tee pads wont be installed until late June 2021. This course will end up on DG Course review, UDisc and other disc golf sites once it is completed. I know some of you are still out testing out what we have in so far, just wanted to post this video below for you as there is a large change to hole 18s basket position (tee is the same). Hope you enjoy, stay safe, and keep discing on my friends!
