Happy New Year,
We are excited to start the Bon Homme 4H Shooting Sports season. At the training sessions held in November & December, your family signed up for the time slot. If you don't remember what you signed up for, please email me.
Friday, Jan 3 Setup & Training
6pm - we will start setting up the main room for practice. Please attend if you can help.
6pm - Final Safety Training for BB/AirRifle/AirPistol - for shooters that need to complete the safety training. We will assign guns after this training.
6:45pm Final Safety Training for Archery - for shooters that need to complete the safety training. We will assign bows after this training.
Sunday, Jan 5 1st Practice - Key items
You will come at your assigned time slot (either 12, 1 or 2pm) that you signed up for. Please arrive 10 minutes early for each class to get equipment set up and be ready to shoot on the line at your assigned time.
Come Prepared:
All shoes should be closed-toe to ensure safety. No sandals, flip flops, etc.
Wear proper fitted clothing, with hair tied back, no loose, baggy, or hanging items.
For parents of Beginners in BB, please have a parent, adult, or Jr/Sr sibling prepared to stay for each class to sit & load the BBs for your shooters.
For BB, only shoes below the ankle are allowed. High tops, boots, etc that support the ankle are not allowed for competitions, so we want to practice the same way.
When you arrive, please hang up your coats in the back entry, along with placing any cases for shooters that bring their own equipment.
For the area of BB, air rifle & air pistol, all shooters & audience are required to have eye protection. We have glasses available to use for class.
There is no food or drink allowed in the main room. These items are allowed in the back area, but must be kept neat and tidy.
We are very lucky to have this great building, so all kids need to be supervised at all times. You are welcome to stay and watch your shooter, with limited seating available.
We look forward to seeing all of you on Friday, or Sunday, Jan. 5! If you have any questions, please email us. Thank you!
