Hi everyone!! My name is Lani McNatt, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce myself as the coach of the Tyler Crude Dance Team, the Derrick Dolls! This opportunity is incredibly special to me, not just because of my love for dance, but also because Tyler, Texas is home! I was born and raised right here in Tyler and have spent the majority of my life in this amazing community.

My passion for dance started at Spirit of Tyler where I did competitive cheerleading and dance. I was in the program for over 14 years, and those years and experiences shaped me into the person, dancer, and coach I am today.

After graduating from high school, I continued pursuing my passion by cheering at the collegiate level, first at the University of Arizona and later at Texas State University. After college, I danced for the San Antonio Spurs at the professional level.

Now, I am beyond excited to bring my experience, energy, and love for dance back home to Tyler as the coach of the Derrick Dolls! It’s an honor to be a part of something new and exciting for our city. I’m looking forward to connecting with the community, building a talented team, and cheering on our new football team! Go Crude!!
